LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 App Reviews

I bought this app and has super high expectations,and it wont even download! Ive deleted everything I can,and it just makes my whole device glitch. Extremely disappointed

Its great, but needs to adapt. It would be nice if it could fit the whole screen on the 6. Also, all the cutscenes play in portrait, and then it cuts back to landscape for gameplay; it doesnt look great. The joystick is troublesome as well. I think it should be like Lego Star Wars, where the stick spawns where you touch the left side of the screen. That helps with all of the platform bits.

I am so upset that I wasted my money on this game. I was so excited to continue the story because I love Years 1-4. I cannot see how this could possibly be thought of as an improvement. This is nothing like the first game. Its not intuitive at all and it seems like it should be a game played with a controller and not an iPad. I hope perhaps someone will try again and make a version that is a continuation of the first. So disappointing.

The freeplay will not load for order of the Phoenix chapter 1

I dont write reviews often, but this is the worst thing Ive ever purchased and deserves to get a bad review. You cant skip cut scenes which only play in portrait while the game is played in landscape. You constantly have to turn the iPad to view in the correct orientation. The controls are ridiculously terrible. The years 1-4 allowed you to hold the iPad with one hand while controlling the game with one hand. This game requires two hands all the time. I managed to complete all levels, but it was exasperating. Now that I am done I would like to play it in free play mode, but it locks up on me every time. Ive seen the opening cut seen about a hundred times while trying to play in free play mode. I enjoyed Lego Harry Potter years 1-4, but this is a complete waste of time and money.

All cut scenes play in portrait mode in small window on iphone 6 with iOS 9. Please update and optimize for newer devices! I know we probably wont get the game to play on full screen since that would require new art or a lot of reprogramming, but it would be nice to have the cutscenes play the right way and be able to skip them at least...especially the opening cutscene which we have to watch every time we open the app. Though its not the entire console game, its big enough on mobile and it looks great! Keep porting these 3D Lego games to iOS and stop the isometric mobile versions. Please!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Harry Potter, so I got years 1-4. I finished the whole entire game, so I bought years 5-7. When I started playing my immediate reaction was?!???!?!?

Ill play the game because I paid for it but this one doesnt even come close to the fun Ive had with other Legos games & it is HORRIBLE compared to Harry Potter 1-4. You have to scroll through spells without knowing which spells are which, the levels arent near as much fun as in 1-4-theyre short and quick, and I absolutely hate the dueling part if this game. So slow and so boring.

App crashes every time I try to play. Maybe iOS 10 related??? Either way, have not even made it past the first level or a saving point. Very disappointed that I paid $4.99 for a game that wont even work!

I really enjoyed the first game (years 1-4), but found the difference in controls and the extreme number of videos (that it wont let me skip) really annoying. I really wanted to like it, but was not able to. Maybe Ill try it again later, but unlikely.

Ever since the iOS 10 upgrade the game closes out after every level. Its completely obnoxious.

It wont stop crashing & I cant even play it any more. Id also like it if you could bypass the beginning video so that it doesnt take so long to load.
