LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 App Reviews

For some reason in the final battle part I not able to use spells. Is it supposed to be like this? Overall its a good game

The game is great but for some reason the cutscenes dont tend to pop up in the right direction. For example if the game is played landscape mode then the cutscenes should be in landscape mode to, so i have to flip my device every time a cutscene appears. PLEASE FIX

we are already over with the era of iPhone 5s, now with the larger screens like iP6 and iP6 plus, this game is still stuck with the screen resolution of iP4. If you guys are not going to make it last any longer in the future, then dont sell it.

I like the game, but the app always freezes when I attempt to replay a level in free play mode. Can this be fixed in the next update, if there is one?

I was in love with this game until I got stuck on the order of the Phoenix when kreacher wont let you go with Sirius in grimauld place what do I dooooooo!!!!!!!!!

The touchscreen controls are absolute crap. Really difficult to use on iOS. Save points are too far apart - you have to play for an hour at a time. I finally quit and deleted the game. Waste of $.

Im really frustrated because Im not sure how to get past the part where Ron and Harry are on land destroying the locket! All I get is Ron and Harry then moving the rock to get half of the block up so Harry can open what ever is there

I absolutely love being able to play both this game and Years 1-4 on my iPhone and iPad; however, when playing this game recently, Ive noticed that the video cut sequences always play in portrait mode, even when my phone (iPhone 6 Plus) is being held in landscape mode. Id also like to take this moment to suggest updating the graphics. Seeing as we are now 4 new phone models and 3 new screen sizes past when these apps were first released, it seems logical to give them an update that fills the new screen real estate and takes advantage of the amazing newer displays and graphics technology now available. Harry Potter continues to be loved by many, and with a new play and new movies about to be released, updated versions of both games, even if they required another one time payment, are guaranteed to catch peoples interests

Theres a lot of glitches and the controls can be clumsy. I like the attention to detail and the graphics though.

The controls are so hard to use. The first game (Years 1-4) was so much fun because it was easy to move around and cast spells. This game is kinda a waste of money because of how hard it is to play. I want to finish it, but it is nearly impossible to play so I will most likely delete it. The new "touch" controls dont help at all. This game NEEDS an overhaul to make it as fun and user friendly as the first game. I dont know why they messed with a design that clearly worked for this cluster f***.

I love Lego and Harry Potter and this game is good but the sound is bad and the look is okay but not like other Lego games.

First, just to start off this conversation, I think this game is worth $8. It has great graphics and the levels are long enough to keep you busy for a while. It also has many characters, power ups, and tricks. In addition to that, you can play without wifi or any internet connection. The controls are great and easy to use. I used the touch version at first but then I switched to the more buttons option. Even with the more buttons you can still touch and hold things to move them if youre close enough to them. I think that moving the character around with the pad is the best way to play, so for those of you who say you wish you could tap somewhere and have your character go there, I disagree with you. Id say this game is worth $12, but there are so few levels for each year. All the levels in the game can be beat within 6 hours about. Ive already completed over 1/3 of the game by just beating all the levels. Also, they leave out some parts that would seem very fun, such as the broomstick chase in year 7, or breaking into umbridges office in year 5. Finally, some of the levels are ridiculously easy, while some of them are really hard. I think that for all the levels they should have a extra hint button where it tells you what to do. For 2 levels I had to look up how to get past them online, and that wasnt easy since some of the levels on the iPhone are different from the levels on the wii, Xbox, or PlayStation. Most of the time I looked up iPhone and got the Nintendo version which is almost the same. In year 5, in the weaslies escape level, I couldnt figure out how to get past it until I looked up how to beat it and saw that someone had said that their "pets" are the decoy detonators. When I tried that (I had to figure out how to explode them; you tap on the screen) I beat the rest of the level easily except for the part where you have to shoot down the rockets. I didnt realize that until I saw that the same person had written how to get past there. I have NEVER had any problems with the app kicking me out or breaking down, even when I have a bunch of apps open. Anyway, this game is definitely worth the money. P.S. If you liked this game, I recommend Lego Star Wars. It is by the same company but it takes much longer to beat. It also doesnt leave anything out. It has 36 levels, 6 extra levels, 20 bounty hunter missions, and I think over 200 characters. Read my full review there. It is number 2 on current version. It also has taken me about 25 and 1/2 hours to beat 62%

Optimize the game to fit on the full screen of iPhone 6 Plus and itll be a 5 star.

This is very accurate and amazing the thing is you wouldnt know whats going on if you just had only played the game with no bookmovie but anyone that doesnt give this 5 star, you better use wengaudiam leviosa on the rate bar

A very fun game

I am a huge HP fan, so when I saw these games, I couldnt wait to start playing. I really enjoyed yrs 1-4 but the second installment is very disappointing. I dont care for the "joystick" and the character movement is more difficult than the first series. Im not left handed so it makes it difficult to move the character and use action buttons at the same time. Also, having to scroll for the correct spell to use is annoying. I preferred to draw them on my iPad. I hope you really do listen to your customers and make the necessary changes to keep your loyal customers happy. Thank you
