LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 App Reviews

Overall a good product. You need to fix the bugs. Just because the app is old doesnt mean you can give up on fixing bugs. Specifically and so far, the end of Book 5 with the fight vs Voldemort, the red brick doesnt show up and the "door" behind it disappears as you move around in front of it. Fix the bugs and Ill give a better review.

This is a great game which I would recommend if you are a Harry potter fan.This game could use some improvements at first it was boring becuase of all the stuff you had to do but as you go on the duels get harder exciting more interesting I would say also if they would add voices to the characters like in Lego batman anyway this is a great game buy it buy it buy it troll face :)

The controls on this are bad. The actions are bad. You dont tap and draw the symbols like in 1-4. If you think this is like 1-4, you are wrong. You have to pay additionally for the dulling club(0.99 cents), which is absurd, since you have already payed 5 dollars for it. I would have given it half a star if I could. YOU SHOULD NOT GET THIS

Im finding that I cant cast wingardium levioso or lumos unless Im close enough to an object for it to become highlighted and the button appears. Youre supposed to be able to select a spell, target an object, and cast the spell by releasing it. This works for aguamenti and reducto, but not wingardium levioso and lumos. Very frustrating.

Years 1-4 was fantastic, but years 5-7 is terrible. You do not fix what isnt broken. Very disappointed. Wish I never bought this game. Waist of my money.

Perhaps I wouldnt have hated this game if I hadnt already played years 1-4...but then, as clunky as the movement/controls are, I probably wouldnt have given it as much a chance as I did had I not enjoyed the other game. The narrative is brief and nonsequential and often has nothing to do with the book or the movie. Big waste of money.

I love playing this game, but the issue is that the game needs an update to fit the new iPhone screens because the black bars on the side of the game are bothersome.

I really enjoyed Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 on the new iPad Air 2. This version on the other hand froze several times despite soft resetting the iPad and on several occasions the new touch controls would not allow me to interact with an item that was glowing. I am a fan of the previous years release and have also played Lego LOTR which was enjoyable. I ended up removing this game from my iPad as it was just too frustrating. Please improve the function for future users.

I keep returning to the game to complete it 100% but often I am disappointed when glitches prevent me (chests open and nothing comes out). Years 1-4 were way more fun and less frustrating.

I love LEGO games, but this one is glitchy and poorly made. The cutscenes only play upright and not sideways (and are unskippable). The game glitched so that I couldnt get past a certain point in the game. This game was a waste of time and money.

I absolutely love this game, but there are some glitches that make it kinda hard to do other things. For example, if you try to load Little Whinging Park in free play, it softlocks after you choose your characters. Please fix these bugs!

You can clearly see where the game was chopped and reglued together to make the game more playable as an app. Unfortunately, this editing was poorly done. The cutscenes and gameplay are not associated. It was very confusing. So much was skipped. One second your in a cutscene then suddenly you were on an unrelated quest with no explanation as to why.

Why is everyone saying its glitchy?!?? Its totally not! It work perfectly and I had to get no software updates! Im on a generation 2,3,or4 people and its NEVER glitched for me!!!! So. Yes, this game works. Worth the 5 bucks.

Not as good as years 1-4 but it was still awesome. I just couldnt find the multiple character tokens in order to get 100%, it looks like you got all the tokens but some are not shown on the list.

The movement is terrible the controls in years 1-4 were much better its difficult to move in this one please fix

I love this game but I also have the Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 and Since I play both a lot. Im not used to the other game with the controls on the spells and how to move. And please make another Harry Potter Game Im getting bored with these three games.
